HR Officer

Indigo Energy’s mission is to develop, build, and operate high-quality solar projects.  Based in Myanmar from 2012, Indigo Energy has evolved over time.  The first phase was focused on rural electrification, the second phase on commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar, and the most recent (i.e. Indigo Energy 3.0) on outsourced engineering services around solar. 

Indigo Energy is seeking a strategic minded HR Officer who can help grow the Indigo Energy team. This person will lead the search to find new members of the Indigo Energy team and help develop the existing team.

Job Description

  • Lead the recruitment process to identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, and select qualified candidates.

  • Design and implement training programs to address the organization’s training needs, conduct training sessions, and evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Manage and administer the salary calculation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and industry standards.

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless and positive experience, and coordinate offboarding activities for departing employees.

  • Stay updated with HR best practices, labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to the organization.

  • Manage employee record, including personal information, employment details, performance evaluations, and training record.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant professional certification is a plus.

  • Experience in recruitment processes, including conducting interviews and selecting candidates.

  • Familiarity with sourcing methods and tools required. Knowledge of the engineering field is a plus.

  • Understanding of salary calculation processes, labor laws, and industry standards related to compensation.

  • Updated knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations. Ability to ensure compliance and provide guidance to the organization.
